Tri-City Americans News Release
Kennewick, WA - The Tri-City Americans head coach Don Nachbaur today has announced that 20-year-old Marcus Jonasen will serve as captain again for the second straight season. Jonasen will be joined by veterans Shawn Belle, Dylan Stanley and Clayton Stoner. The foursome will also be supported by Brett Festerling, Logan Stephenson, Luke Hewitt, Matt Schneider, Ryan Costanzo and Aaron Boogaard.
"The biggest and perhaps best obstacle a coach can have is to identify his leaders," said Nachbaur. This was no problem here."
"We have expanded the leadership group and every one of them is loaded with character and can lead," continued Nachbaur. "Each individual brings a different element to the rink. This supporting cast of leadership will all alternate at times to share in responsibility."
