
Americans Sign Prospect Kyle Olson

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 2014 Bantam Draft Pick Kyle Olson to a standard WHL Players Agreement.
Olson was taken in the third round (45th overall) in the 2014 Bantam Draft.
"Kyle is one of the elite 1999 forwards in Western Canada," Tory said. "We are elated that Kyle and his family have chosen the Tri-City Americans and the WHL to pursue his hockey development."
The native of Calgary, AB, played last season with Calgary Buffaloes AAA Midget of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The 5'10, 160-pound forward played in 32 games, scoring 16 goals, 20 assists and 79 penalty minutes.
