
Americans Return to Ticketmaster

KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans Sr. Vice President of Business Operations, Brian Sandy, announced today that the team has signed a sponsorship with Ticketmaster to be the sole ticketing provider for the upcoming 2007-2008 season.
Ticketmaster, headquartered in West Hollywood, California, is the world's leading ticketing company, providing ticket sales, ticket resale services, marketing and distribution of event tickets and information. Ticketmaster, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2006, currently serves more than 9,000 clients, facilitating ticket sales through www.ticketmaster.com, one of the largest e-commerce sites on the Internet, 6,500 retail outlets and a global network of call centers.
"We are pleased to add Ticketmaster to our family of Americans sponsors," said Sandy. "The technology they bring to the table is truly impressive and will mean substantial improvements to the fan experience at the Toyota Center both now and in the future."
Single game ticket sales are now on sale for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. Fans can purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the individual game portion of the schedule page on the Americans website, AmsHockey.com. Fans can also purchase tickets through convenient Ticketmaster outlets throughout the Mid-Columbia, including all Fred Meyer locations.
