Americans Players Giving Back this Holiday Season

ALLEN, Texas-For the third year in a row the Allen Americans participated in the Dicks Sporting Goods "Shop with an Americans Player" on Monday Dec 13, at Dicks Sporting Goods in the Village at Allen.
Players Jarret Lukin, Dylan King, Rejean Beauchemin, Joshua Hepditch, and Brett Cloutier spent a couple hours Christmas shopping with some special children at Dicks Sporting Goods in the Village at Allen. The items purchased ranged from shoes, to footballs and one child even walked out with his first puck and hockey stick.
"The players always really enjoy going out in the community, especially during the holidays and helping put a smile on children's faces," said Americans Player Representative Erik Adams.
This special event benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. The Boys and Girls Club purpose is to help children and adolescents in need reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The Allen Americans were more than happy to contribute to the organization, and spend some time with the children.
"This is the second time I've been a part of this special event." said Americans forward Jarret Lukin. "I really enjoy seeing the happiness it brings to the little children."
A special thanks to Dicks Sporting Goods in the Village at Allen, as well as Boston's the Gourmet Pizza in McKinney which provided pizza for all the children and players.
