Americans Netminder Aaron Dell Named CHL Goalie of the Week

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced this afternoon that Americans rookie goaltender Aaron Dell has been named the Oakley Goalie of the Week.
Dell is tied for the best save percentage in the CHL at .933, and the second best goals against average in the league at 1.94. He was also recently named the Warrior Goalie of the Month for November 2012.
"He has really played well for us of late," said Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson, "Dell was in net for both wins this past weekend in Denver, giving up just three goals total in the two outings."
The Americans signed Dell as a free agent this summer from the University of North Dakota.
In thirteen games this season, Aaron Dell has a record of 9-3-0, including winning his last four starts.
The Americans play back to back games this weekend, starting with Friday night's matchup against the Missouri Mavericks in Independence, Missouri. Then Saturday, it's a first place showdown against the Wichita Thunder at Allen Event Center at 7;05 pm.
