Americans Make Initial Visit

Texas 2 Step: The Tulsa Oilers will play their first games against teams in the Southern Conference this week, as the expansion Allen Americans visit the BOK Center Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. The Oilers will visit the defending Ray Miron President Cup champion Texas Brahmas on Saturday at 7:05. Both games can be heard via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and viewed at CHL TV.

$2 Tues: Not only is it a new team coming to the BOK Center, Tuesday, it's also $2 Tuesday with beer and soft drinks at the Bok Center only $2. The Oilers will also be trying to give Allen its first regulation loss as the Americans are 4-0-1.

5-4 Twice: The Oilers played a pair of 5-4 games last week, winning one and losing one, each in regulation time. They defeated Rapid City at home and lost at Mississippi.

Turn Around: After not scoriong a power play goal in their first three games, the Oilers went 5-for-14 (35.7%) on the man advantage last week

Hot Hisey: Center Rob Hisey figured in seven of the Oilers nine goals last week. He had a goal and four assists against Rapid City (including an eye popping game winning goal) and added two more goals at Mississippi.

On The Board: Mike Beausoleil and Rick Kozak each got their first goals of the season last week. Beausoleil scored twice against Rapid City and Kozak had a goal and an assist at Mississippi.

Still Comfy: Aaron Davis formerly played for Mississippi and hasn't forgotten how to score there. He has two goals this season and both have come at Mississippi.
