Allen Americans News Release
The Allen Americans organization maintain a successful presence in the Collin County. They participate anywhere from school visits to 'meet and greets' to radio shows. With the new month of February they look forward to continuing their active involvement.
Where We've Been:
January 25th - Allen Americans players, Brett Clouthier, and Erik Adams along with Biscuit visited Evans Elementary to participate in the morning announcements.
January 26th - Allen Americans, Nick Layton and Erik Adams stopped by Marion Elementary to partake in the morning announcements.
January 26th - A couple of Allen Americans players, Colton Yellow Horn and Jarret Lukin were auctioned off to fan winners, Kimberly Munson and Trey Lee to have lunch provided by the restaurant sponsor, Brio in Allen. The money raised from the auctioned lunch will go to Collin County Walk to End Alzheimer's. "We had a great time," said Americans forward Jarret Lukin. It's nice to be able to help out such a great cause."
January 30th - Allen Americans players, Matt Register and Jason Deitsch helped with the Police vs Fire Ice Hockey practice Allen Event Center
January 31st - Allen Americans players, Jarret Lukin and Jeff Martens joined Tommy Daniels for the Americans Radio Show at the Allen Wickers Pub in Plano. A good crowd was on hand to watch the show and get insight on the team. "I learned something tonight that I didn't know about these two players," said Americans broadcaster Tommy Daniels. Lukin revealed on the air the he and Jeff Martens are from the same home town and in fact, the two families know each other. The two players signed autographed photos for the fans after the show. Allen Wickers is a new sponsor of Allen Americans hockey this season.
February 1st - Allen Americans Jason Deitsch and Biscuit stopped by Lovejoy Elementary to participate in the morning announcements.
February 1st - Allen Americans, Nick Layton and Dylan King went to Norton Elementary to help out with the morning announcements.
February 1st - Allen Americans players, Brian McMillin and Joshua Hepditch stopped by Heritage Ranch for a Players 'Meet and Greet'
Upcoming Events:
February 3rd at 1:00pm - There will be an Allen Eagle Run Promotion Video at Norton Elementary
The Americans next home game is Friday February 3rd at 7:05 P.M. vs the Tulsa Oilers. Tickets on sale at the Allen Event Center box office, or www.ticketmaster.com .
