Americans Host Denver Tonight in Regular Season Finale

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans close out the 2013-2014 regular season tonight at Allen Event Center against the Denver Cutthroats at 7:05 pm .
The Americans have clinched a top four playoff spot, but could take third place overall with a win tonight, or losses by both Allen and Rapid City in regulation. The Americans' playoff opponent could be determined later tonight.
Denver locked up second place last night with their 3-2 win over the Americans. Denver's first round playoff opponent is yet to be determined either.
In an Allen Americans first, Americans season ticket holders, Mark Costello and Mary Simonetti, will be joined together tonight as husband and wife with nearly 5,000 fans on hand to share in the excitement. The wedding will take place during the first intermission on the ice.
