
Americans Fall Flat in 8-1 Loss to Silvertips

KENNEWICK, WA - The Americans returned home from a road trip through the Central Division to take on the Everett Silvertips today at the Toyota Center. The Silvertips took control of the game early and defeated the Americans 8-1.
Everett jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead with goals from Jalen Price and Jackson Berezowski.
Americans rookie Booker Daniel cut their lead in half with three seconds remaining in the period. Daniel's goal, his 7th of the season, came off an impressive individual effort breaking out of Tri-City's zone and past the Everett defense.

The Americans were unable to find the net again as the Silvertips followed with six straight.
