Americans Dethrone Oil Kings in 6-4 Victory

Things were off to a hot start. The Americans scored 3 goals in the first period.

Parker AuCoin started things off early with the first goal of the night at 0:37 unassisted.

The second goal came from Isaac Johnson with the assists of Kyle Olson and Tom Cadieux at 5:03.

Kyle Olson's pass assisted Nolan Yaremko with the third goal of the night at 6:41.

The Oil Kings trailed behind for a bit, but also scored three goals in the first to tie things up.

Ethan Cap gets the team on the board in the first at 7:16. Followed by Jacson Alexander power play goal at 13:57. Vince Laschiavo scored another power play goal at 15:07.

AuCoin scores a power play goal to untie things in the second at 12:36.

Oil Kings Loschiavo tied things up again at 18:51 with their last goal of the night.

Olson scored the game winning goal at 2:47 in the third with the help of Dom Schmiemann and Johnson. The Americans untie things once again up 5-4.

Riley Sawchuk scored the insurance goal with an empty net at 18:51.

The Americans outshot the Oil Kings 33-20.

Final score: TC 6 - EDM 4.

Game 6 is this Friday at 7:05 p.m. against the Kelowna Rockets.
