The game between El Paso and Grand Prairie was suspended in the top of the sixth inning with the score tied at 1-1. The suspended game will resume at 5:05 PM on Saturday, August 1 followed by the regularly scheduled game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Pensacola 6, Fort Worth 0 @ Pensacola, FL. Time: 2:17 Attendance: 1,319 W: Dane DeValk (5-2) L: Matt Gibbs (1-3) S: None HR: None

A sensational pitching performance by starting pitcher Dane DeValk leads the Pensacola Pelicans to victory over the Fort Worth Cats. DeValk went seven sharp innings allowing only two walks and four hits while fanning four Fort Worth batters. With the win, DeValk is now 5-2 on the season. RF Kevin Reynolds was the star offensively for Pensacola going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI. For Fort Worth in defeat, CF Brian Fryer and LF John Allen each had two hits. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Lincoln 6, Shreveport-Bossier 2 @ Shreveport, LA. Time: 2:47 Attendance: 1,712 W: Tim Brown (3-1) L: Luke Massetti (6-2) S: None HR: None

The Lincoln Saltdogs won their fifth straight game in a 6-2 win over the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. Saltdogs SS Albenis Machado and 1B Phil Hawke were sensational going a combined 7-for-9 at the plate and scoring all six of their teams' runs. Lincoln starter Tim Brown won his third game of the season. Brown went seven innings giving up two earned runs on nine hits with three strikeouts. DH Chris Garcia was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a RBI for the Captains. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sioux City 9, St. Paul 4 @ Sioux City, IA. Time: 3:29 Attendance: 1,531 W: Ryan Harris (1-0) L: Mark Moriarty (1-4) S: None HR: SP-Jason Cooper (5)

Sioux City scored one run in the first inning and four more in the second to go up 5-0 after two innings and would cruise from there to an easy win over the St. Paul Saints. Sioux City RF James Boone went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI while 2B Alex Llanos had a 2-for-4 night with a run scored and three runs driven in. Explorers starting pitcher Ryan Harris picked up his first victory of the season going 7 2/3 innings allowing two earned runs on six hits. 1B Jason Cooper hit his fifth home run of the season for St. Paul. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Wichita 11, Sioux Falls 6 (Bottom 8 - In Progress) @ Sioux Falls, SD.
