Fargo-Moorhead 11, Winnipeg 3

Fargo-Moorhead scored seven runs over the first four innings to take early control of the game and would go on to win 11-3 over Winnipeg. The victory by the RedHawks was their 65th of the season and that tied a league record for most wins by a team in a season. Centerfielder Nic Jackson had a great game at the plate for Fargo-Moorhead going 4-for-5 with four doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. The four doubles by Jackson tied a league record for most doubles in a game by a player. RedHawks starting pitcher Jake Laber picked up his seventh win of the season as he gave up three earned runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings pitched.

Sioux City 4, Kansas City 3

Trailing 2-0 after 4 ½ innings, the Sioux City Explorers scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead for good and beat the Kansas City T-Bones, 4-3. Third baseman Wally Backman had two hits for Sioux City along with a RBI while LF Brian Bistagne went 1-for-4 and drove in two runs. Explorers starting pitcher Jason Jarvis notched his ninth win of the season. Jarvis gave up three earned runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts. Sioux City reliever Jon Plefka allowed a hit in the ninth inning but shut the door on Kansas City to collect his first save.

Gary SouthShore 5, Laredo 3

Gary SouthShore jumped out to a 4-0 lead after four innings and would hold off Laredo to win by the score of 5-3. Rightfielder Adam Klein was the star of the game for the RailCats as he went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and two RBI. Gary SouthShore DH Trevor Willis chipped in with a 1-for-3 night and scored two runs. RailCats starter Stephen Hiscock got the win as he went seven innings allowing three runs, two earned, on five hits. Hiscock finished the season with a mark of 6-6.
