Kansas City 6, Amarillo 3

The Kansas City T-Bones broke a 3-3 tie with the Amarillo in the seventh inning with three runs and finished out the 6-3 win. T-Bones DH Ray Sadler provided the majority of Kansas City's offense with five RBI on a 2-for-5 night. Sadler had a double and his seventh home run of the year. Both CF Gus Milner and RF Brandon Jones were 2-for-4 for Kansas City and each scored twice. For Amarillo 2B Jake Opitz lead the way at the plate going 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs. P Josh Rainwater earned the win by scattering ten hits over seven innings and allowing just three runs.

Sioux City 5, Wichita 0

The Wichita Wingnuts never quite figured out Sioux City Explorers starter P Jason Jarvis as he shut them out allowing the Explorers to take a 5-0 win. Jarvis worked the complete game and allowed just seven hits. He had just one strikeout and walked three batters. The game was a scoreless tie until the Explorers broke things open in the bottom of the fifth inning by taking advantage of a couple of wild pitches and a dropped third strike. Sioux City LF Yusuke Inoguchi had a strong night with the bat in his hands as he went 3-for-3 with a run, an RBI and drew a walk.

El Paso 6, Laredo 3

The El Paso Diablos knocked off the Laredo Lemurs 6-3 by out hitting the visiting Lemurs 12-7. The Diablos opened up the game with three runs in the first two innings to take an early lead. The Lemurs tied things up in the third with three runs of their own but the Diablos wouldn't allow another run for the rest of the game. El Paso SS Maikol Gonzalez had a game-high three hits in four at bats and he also had an RBI. For Laredo, 1B Javier Brito and 3B John Allen each had two hits. P Scott Hodsdon earned the win for his 5.1 inning start and P Marcel Prado picked up the save.
