Sioux Falls 8, Winnipeg 4

Sioux Falls scored five runs in the first inning to counter Winnipeg's three-run first inning, and the Pheasants went on to defeat the Goldeyes 8-4. In the top of the first, Winnipeg SS Wes Long hit a three-run homer to give the Goldeyes a 3-0 lead. The Pheasants immediately responded in the bottom half of the inning with five runs to claim the lead. Third baseman Trevor Lawhorn hit an RBI double, LF Francisco Leandro hit a two-RBI single and 2B Kevin Carby hit a two-RBI triple in the inning. Leandro went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs in the game, and RF Gus Milner went 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI. After a rough first inning, Pheasants starter Kyle Ruwe rebounded to earn the win. Ruwe pitched a complete game and conceded four runs on nine hits.

El Paso 5, Wichita 4

The Diablos scored three in the top of the first and added two more in the fifth inning to edge the Wichita Wingnuts 5-4. Diablos DH Nelson Teilon hit a two-RBI double in the first inning, and C Alberto Espinosa hit an RBI single in the same frame. El Paso RF Stephen Douglas scored twice and had one RBI, and CF Kory Drew had two hits in the game. El Paso starter Alex Kaminsky allowed four earned runs on eight hits in 6.2 innings pitched to earn the win. Kaminsky fanned seven Wichita hitters in the game. Colin Allen earned the save for El Paso. Wichita SS Josh Horn went 3-for-5 with a home run in the loss.

Kansas City 8, Lincoln 6

The Kansas City T-Bones surged for six runs in the third inning and then held on to defeat Lincoln by a score of 8-6. Kansas City RF Ray Sadler went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in the game. Second baseman Jimmy Mojica also homered for Kansas City. T-Bones 3B Rico Washington, DH Jim Fasano and LF Aharon Eggleston all chipped in with an RBI each. T-Bones starting pitcher Devin Anderson earned the win, allowing four runs in six innings pitched. Kyle Dahman conceded an earned run in the ninth inning but still earned the save for Kansas City. Lincoln SS Vance Albitz hit two triples and batted in two runs in the loss.

Amarillo 5, Grand Prairie 2

The Amarillo Sox broke a 1-1 tie with a four-run fifth inning to defeat the Grand Prairie AirHogs 5-2. The Sox struck first when LF Adam De La Garza singled in a run in the bottom of the first. Grand Prairie leveled the score on LF Jake Taylor's RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the second. In Amarillo's four-run fifth inning, 1B Cyle Hankerd and DH Lee Cruz hit back-to-back RBI doubles. Later in the inning, RF Tim Alberts hit an RBI single and C Kevin Butler doubled in a run. Cruz and Butler each had two hits in the game. Amarillo starting pitcher Ryan Mitchell pitched a complete game and earned the win. Mitchell conceded two runs on seven hits while striking out eight hitters.

Fort Worth 10, Shreveport-Bossier 0

Fort Worth routed Shreveport-Bossier 10-0. Cats starting pitcher Phillip Bartleski tossed eight solid innings to earn the win. Bartleski allowed zero runs, scattered nine hits and struck out five in the game. Fort Worth DH Ryan Patterson hit two home runs and had three RBIs in the game. Cats CF Brian Fryer went 1-for-5 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored, and 2B Derek Kinzler had a double and two RBIs. Cats SS Cory Morales had three hits in the game. For the Captains, 3B Andres Rodriguez had two hits in the loss.
