Shreveport-Bossier 3, El Paso 2
Three different Captains collected RBIs as Shreveport-Bossier narrowly defeated the El Paso Diablos 3-2. Captains RF Bryan Sabatella had three hits in four at-bats with one RBI. Catcher Brian Peterson and SS Bryan Frichter each tallied an RBI for Shreveport-Bossier as well. El Paso rallied in the top of the ninth, scoring two runs on RBIs from 2B Antoin Gray and LF Chad Gabriel. Captains pitcher Dan Griffin was able to get the final out and record the save despite giving up two earned runs in an inning pitched.
Lincoln 4, Sioux Falls 1
Lincoln RF Jon Nelson went 1-for-3 from the plate and collected two RBIs as the Saltdogs defeated the Sioux Falls Pheasants 4-1. Second baseman Joe Ramos and SS Vance Albitz each had one RBI and CF Blake Gailen had three hits in four at-bats while scoring two runs. Saltdogs starting pitcher Thomas Palica earned the win, striking out eight batters and surrendering zero runs in eight innings pitched. For the Pheasants, 1B Brandon Sing belted a solo homerun.
Sioux City 5, Gary SouthShore 2
Sioux City's pitching held Gary SouthShore to just five hits as the Explorers beat the RailCats by a score of 5-2. Sioux City starting pitcher Nick Schumacher conceded two hits and one run in five innings pitched, earning the win. Explorers 3B Wally Backman went 1-for-3 from the plate with two RBIs and C Ray Serrano had two of his team's eight hits on the night. Emiliano Fruto came on in relief and pitched a scoreless ninth inning to record the save. For the RailCats, RF Cristian Guerrero had two hits in three at-bats and an RBI in a losing effort.
St. Paul 14, Amarillo 10
St. Paul and Amarillo amassed thirty six total hits but a four-run top of the ninth allowed the St. Paul Saints to notch a 14-10 victory against the Amarillo Sox. St. Paul SS Adam Frost had four hits in five at-bats with three RBIs and three runs scored. Saints 2B Justin Snyder doubled twice, scored twice, and drove in three runners. Saints LF Jake Krause collected two RBIs and went 3-for-5 from the plate. Sox 2B Matthew Tucker had three hits and three RBIs and DH Tim Alberts belted a two-run homer in a losing effort.
Grand Prairie - Kansas City (Bottom 7th - Game in progress)

Wichita - Fort Worth (Bottom 12th - Game in progress)
The game between Wichita and Fort Worth is still in progress. The score is tied 3-3 in the bottom of the twelfth inning.
