Winnipeg 7, Fargo-Moorhead 2
Winnipeg broke open a 2-1 game with five runs over the 4th, 5th and 6th innings to beat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 7-2. Goldeyes RF Victor Ferrante went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a RBI while C Alan Rick belted his fourth home run and drove in two runs. Mike Williams tossed four scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win for Winnipeg. He allowed three walks and struck out one batter. RedHawks DH Jesse Hoorelbeke went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in the loss.
