Shreveport-Bossier 9, Amarillo 4

Brian Peterson went 4-5 for Shreveport-Bossier as the Captains handled Amarillo on the road. Shreveport-Bossier tallied nine runs on 13 hits while holding Amarillo to only five hits on the game. Pitcher Ryan DiPietro only surrendered two hits and one run to get the win for the Captains. Colin Allen lasted just 2.2 innings and gave up six runs that put Amarillo in a hole it couldn't climb out of. DH Jeff Hulett hit his third home run of the season in the win.

Grand Prairie 9, Kansas City 5

Grand Prairie used a five-run fourth inning to top Kansas City. Zane Chavez, Danny Figueroa and Cesar Nicolas all had RBIs in that inning, with Figueroa's coming off being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Kansas City outhit Grand Prairie 11-8 in the contest, but its four errors in the field led to three unearned runs for the AirHogs. Aharon Eggleston was 3-4 and Ray Sadler hit his second home run of the season for Kansas City in the losing effort.

Gary SouthShore 4, Fargo-Moorhead 2

The pitchers for Gary SouthShore gave up just three hits to defeat Fargo-Moorhead. The game was tied 2-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, when Brad Boyer and Toddric Johnson both knocked in RBI singles that the RedHawks couldn't overcome. Boyer was 2-4 with two RBIs, two runs and a home run for Gary SouthShore. Chris Siegfried picked up the loss for Fargo-Moorhead in relief work, and James Baker got the win for relieving Derrick Gordon in the seventh inning. David Nathanson got the save for closing the game for Gary SouthShore with no hits in 1.1 innings.

Lincoln at Sioux Falls (Postponed - Rain)

The game scheduled between Lincoln and Sioux Falls was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 4:05 p.m.

Fort Worth at Sioux City (Postponed - Rain)

The game scheduled between Fort Worth and Sioux City was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday with the first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m.

El Paso 6, Wichita 6 (Top of the 11th - In Progress)

Winnipeg 1, St. Paul 2 (Bottom of the 7th - In Progress)
