Alumni Report: Christiansen's First NHL Goal, Goncalves Hot in Syracuse

Jake Christiansen (2015-20) netted his first NHL goal on Mar. 1, lifting a wrister past Devils goalie Nico Daws in a 4-3 Columbus Blue Jackets win. Christiansen was rewarded with the team's hat of honor after the victory. He returned to the AHL's Cleveland Monsters on Mar. 5, and has recorded a goal and two assists over two games back with the team. Christiansen has now skated in four NHL games this season.

Connor Dewar (2015-19) has found a stable role in the Minnesota Wild's bottom-six. Dewar has two goals and three assists in 27 games played this season with the Wild, potting his second career tally on Feb. 20 in a rout against the Edmonton Oilers.

Radko Gudas (2009-10) contributed his first goal of the season on Feb. 22, unleashing a wrist shot from the blueline against the Nashville Predators. Gudas now has 12 points in 54 games with the Florida Panthers, who currently lead the Atlantic Division with 81 points in 56 games.

Carter Hart (2013-18) recorded his 10th win of the season on Feb. 26. Though the Philadelphia Flyers continue to struggle, Hart remains a bright spot on the roster, posting a .910 save percentage in 34 games started.

AHL

Gage Goncalves (2018-21) is white-hot for the Syracuse Crunch. The 21-year-old Lightning prospect has four goals and six assists over his last nine games, including a career-best four-point night on Feb. 26 against Utica.

Noah Juulsen (2013-17) had a brief call-up with the Vancouver Canucks, which included a two-assist outing on Feb. 8 against the Arizona Coyotes. Juulsen is back in Abbotsford, where he has four assists over his last six games.

Cole Fonstad (2019-21) has been out of the Cleveland Monsters' lineup the last few weeks, but has started to find his goal-scoring touch in the AHL. The Blue Jackets prospect recorded a two-goal night on Feb. 11 against the Utica Comets, giving him six goals and 11 points in 28 games this season.

Garrett Pilon (2017-18) notched a multi-point night for the Hershey Bears on Mar. 4, collecting a goal and an assist in an overtime loss to the Springfield Thunderbirds. A Washington Capitals prospect, Pilon is fourth on the team in scoring with 31 points in 38 games.

Gianni Fairbrother (2016-21) is back in the Laval Rocket lineup after nearly a month out. Fairbrother has a goal and six assists in 25 games on the Laval blueline.

Wyatte Wylie (2016-20) has put together a nice run of games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers affiliate). Wylie has a goal and three assists over his last six games, giving him 16 points on the campaign.

Bryce Kindopp (2015-20) tallied his seventh goal of the AHL season on Mar. 4. The Anaheim Ducks prospect has four points in his last seven games as a San Diego Gull.

Montana Onyebuchi (2016-18) has three assists in his last eight games with the San Jose Barracuda- with two fighting majors to go along with it. Onyebuchi is also celebrating his 22nd birthday today, Mar. 8.

Byron Froese (2008-10) is on a goal-scoring tear, racking up six goals over his last 12 games as captain of the Stockton Heat (Calgary Flames affiliate).

Dustin Wolf (2017-21) continues to lead the way for the Heat as their backstop. He is now 23-4-3 on the season with a 2.33 goals-against average and .923 save-percentage. Head coach Mitch Love (2003-05) has the Heat holding onto the top points-percentage ranking in the AHL at .744.

ECHL

Patrick Bajkov (2013-18) currently leads the Reading Royals (Flyers affiliate) in scoring with 48 points in 49 games.
