
ALS autograph party and auction just eight days away

Rochester Red Wings News Release
ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a disease that attacks muscles and causes paralysis of the limbs and trunk as well as those that control vital functions such as speech, swallowing and respiration.
To help fight this terrible disease, the Red Barons are teaming up with the ALS Association for the 6th Annual Autograph Party and Auction to help "Strike Out ALS" on Saturday, July 30 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Admission for this event is just $5 per person which includes admission to the stadium, one non-exchangeable ticket for an autograph booth with players and a souvenir autograph program book. Additional autograph booth tickets can be purchased for $5 each on the stadium concourse.
Tickets are on sale now the Red Barons box office or available at the gate!!!!
Fans attending the game later that evening vs. Rochester will have the opportunity to bid on actual game worn jerseys in a "Shirt Off Their Back" promotion.
All of the Red Barons players will be wearing special edition jerseys for the game. The jersey will be red with white numbers and white players name plates and feature a commemorative ALS patch on the sleeve. Bids will be accepted until 8:30 p.m.. After the game each player will autograph the jersey and it will be given to the high bidder.
Anyone wishing to make a special contribution to the event can send a check payable to the ALS Association, c/o Red Barons, Mike Cummings, P.O. Box 3449, Scranton, PA 18505. All donations are tax deductible.
