Alouettes to kick-off the 2017 CFL season

Montreal - The Canadian Football League (CFL) unveiled its 2017 schedule and the Montreal Alouettes will kick-off the season when they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Thursday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
On the opening night of the season, Alouettes new quarterback Darian Durant will host his former teammates, in front of his new loud fans on the flank on Mont-Royal. His anticipated return to Saskatchewan will take place on the second-to-last week of the CFL season, when Montreal will be in Regina on Friday, October 27.
The defending Grey Cup champion Ottawa REDBLACKS will make their first trip to Montreal on Thursday, August 31, prior to Labour Day weekend, before they return to town on Sunday, September 17, for the first afternoon game of the season at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
Once more, the Alouettes will be hosting a game on Thanksgiving, when the Edmonton Eskimos make their way to Montreal on Monday, October 9, at 2:00 p.m. During the summer months of the season, the Alouettes will play four home games on Thursday evenings, while hosting two Friday night matches. Once school starts up, Montreal will play host to two Sunday afternoon games, on top of the Thanksgiving Monday game.
The division semi-finals will take place on Sunday, November 12, while the division finals will be played on Sunday, November 19. The CFL season will culminate on Sunday, November 26, when the 105th Grey Cup will be played in Ottawa.
