Argos Unveil 2017 Schedule

TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club unveiled their 2017 schedule today.

The Argos' 2017 season kicks off at home in rivalry fashion against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday, June 25 at 4:00pm, one of seven weekend games to be played at BMO Field this season, nearly twice as many as last year.

"This schedule reflects feedback we received from our fans throughout last season," said Michael Copeland, Argos' President & CEO. "It has more weekend games, more consistency, and is a competitively balanced schedule for our football team. We are excited for this new season at BMO Field."

Other highlights of the 2017 home schedule include;

Opening Day: For the second straight season, the Argos open their schedule against the rival Ticats at BMO Field.

Consistency: All games in the Fall will take place on Saturday. Weeknight games during the regular season start at 7:30pm and weekend games kickoff at 4:00pm or 7:00pm.

A competitively balanced schedule that features 14 games that have at least seven days of rest or more in between games.

Bye weeks in Week #12 and Week #19.

Final seven games of season are all on Saturdays.

Honouring the 20th anniversary of the '96 & '97 Grey Cup Championship teams during a home game this season.

The return of one game during the CNE as the Argos welcome the Montreal Alouettes to BMO Field on Saturday, August 19 at 4:00pm, with free admission to the CNE with your ticket to the game. Season tickets for the 2017 Argonauts season are now available. Fans have the opportunity to select from 13 affordable in-bowl seating options as well as a variety of premium seating clubs, lounges and suites. Season ticket packages include 11 home games, including one preseason game, nine regular season games and an early reservation for a home playoff game.
