
Alouettes spending weekend with their fans

Montreal, January 30, 2004 - Montreal Alouettes' players, cheerleaders, and mascot, Touché will be involved this year more than ever, with their fans in the festivities of Superbowl XXXVIII. As a build-up to the main event, the Alouettes will be partaking in a friendly game of touch football against public figures as part of La fête des neiges festivities.
Here is the Alouettes weekend schedule:
Saturday January 31, 2004
The Alouettes take part in La fête des neiges - 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Parc Jean-Drapeau, Ãle Sainte-Hélène, Montreal (Quebec)
Players will be facing Ãnergie 94,3 in a friendly touch football game. Bruno
Heppell, Sylvain Girard, Bryan Chiu, Philippe Girard, Brad Collinson, Luke
Fritz, the cheerleaders, as well as Als mascot Touché will be joining the
festivities. Fans can look forward to free Alouettes prizes, a performance
by the cheerleaders, and an autograph session after the game.
Wendy's restaurant - 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Bellefeuille (Québec)
Stéphane Fortin will be on-site to meet and interact with local fans.
Sunday February 1st, 2004
Casino de Montréal - 3:30 p.m.
1, avenue du Casino (Québec)
Four players and cheerleaders from the Alouettes will be meeting fans in
different areas of the Casino. Uzooma Okeke, Bryan Chiu, Paul Lambert, and
Kevin Johnson will be available to sign autographs and interact with
clients. Fans will have the opportunity to win a pair season tickets for the
2004 football season.
La Cage aux sports, Bell Center - 5 p.m.
1212, de la Gauchetière West, Montreal (Quebec)
Patrick Dorvélus, Barron Miles, Luke Fritz, and cheerleaders will be present
to sign autographs and watch Superbowl XXXVIII with their fans.
Cabaret du Plateau - 5 p.m.
4530, Papineau Street, Montreal (Quebec)
Sylvain Girard, Stéphane Fortin, Philippe Girard, and cheerleaders will be
present to sign autographs and watch Superbowl XXXVIII with their fans.
Wendy's Restaurant - 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Lachenaie
Stéphane Fortin will be on-site to meet and interact with local fans.
