
Alouettes Add Morris Lolar to Coaching Staff

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Wednesday that Morris Lolar is joining the team's coaching staff and will be in charge of the defensive backs. Lolar has been added to the staff following Bert Hill's departure, as he has accepted a new opportunity South of the border.
Lolar played six years in the CFL, helping the Edmonton Eskimos win the Grey Cup in 1993. He also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Wichita, KS native was a member of the Defiance College football staff for the 2018 season. The 48-year-old served as the defensive coordinator for Independence Community College. He was also the head coach of the Wichita Wild in the Indoor Football League where he led the team to the league Championship in 2013.
