New Jersey Jackals News Release

Former Jackal Cedrick Harris scored on Travis Bailey's throwing error in the top of the seventh inning to give the Allentown Ambassadors a 3-2 victory at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls.

Harris reached base after being hit by the Jackals' Ben Grezlovski and advanced to second on a Jorge Diaz sacrifice bunt. Ender Gonzalez flew out to Bailey in deep right, but the Jackals right fielder overthrew cutoff man Craig Conway. Harris, who had tagged on the catch, was able to score from third as the ball came to a rest in the middle of the infield.

One inning earlier the Ambassadors tied the score at 2-2 when Marlon Roche scored on Dan Singletary's single off Jackals starter Aaron Myers.

Allentown starter John Dillinger (4-1) picked up the win, throwing a seven-inning complete game, allowing six hits, four walks and striking out three.

The Ambassadors took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Diaz came home on Roche's double-play ball. But the Jackals rallied in the bottom of the fifth, getting RBI singles from John Anderson and Conway to grab a 2-1 lead.

Ben Grezlovski (2-1) took the loss for New Jersey, allowing no hits and striking out one.
