Allen Recalled by Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers, a parent club of the Hamilton Bulldogs, have recalled defenceman Bobby Allen from Hamilton (AHL).

Allen, a 24-year-old native of Braintree, Massachusetts, has played in 36 games for the Bulldogs this season and has recorded one goal and nine assists for 10 points. The 6'1, 205 pound defenceman has a plus/minus rating of (+17), which is the sixth best on the team. Allen was acquired by the Oilers organization from Boston for defenc! eman Sean Brown on March 19, 2002.

The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to extend their unbeaten streak to 14 games as they host the Binghamton Senators on Thursday, January 2nd at Copps Coliseum.
