Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, finished longest road trip in team history with a 4-1-1 record, and a 1-1-1 record last week with a win in Rapid City, and a regulation and overtime loss in Colorado. The club returns home for 8 of their last 9 games starting on Wednesday night against the Tulsa Oilers.

Overall record: 31-25-5-2 - Fourth overall in the Mountain Division

Wednesday, March 14th, @ Rapid City - 5-4 W
Rapid City, South Dakota - JC Campagna scored the eventual game-winner late in the third period to give the Americans a 5-4 lead. Allen would hold on for the one-goal win over the Rapid City Rush, in the final meeting between the two clubs this season. Thomas Frazee scored two goals, while Spencer Asuchak and Zach Pochiro each scored one.
Saturday, March 17th, @ Colorado- 5-4 Loss
Loveland, Colorado - The Americans dropped a close affair against the Colorado Eagles on Saturday night, by a score of 5-4 at Budweiser Events Center. JC Campagna scored twice, while Eric Roy and Alex Guptill scored once. It was Guptill's team-leading 26th goal of the season.
Sunday, March 18th, @ Colorado- 4-3 OT Loss
Loveland, Colorado - The Allen Americans blew a 3-2 third period lead, as Eagles forward Ryan Olsen scored the game-tying goal and the overtime winner Sunday afternoon as the Colorado Eagles beat the Americans 4-3 at Budweiser Events Center. Tyler Poulsen, Zach Pochiro and Bryan Moore all scored for Allen.
