All-Star Jersey Design Winner Selected

Orlando Solar Bears News Release


Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today the winner of the 2015 ECHL All-Star Jersey design contest. The jersey will be worn by the ECHL All-Stars during the 2015 CCM ECHL All-Star Game, presented by Visit Orlando, on January 21, 2015 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The Solar Bears All-Star jerseys will be unveiled at a later date.

The winning jersey was designed by Jordan Roberts and was labeled as jersey "B" on the Orlando Solar Bears website. Roberts' jersey received 45% of the vote, jersey "C" received 40%, and jersey "A" received 15%. Over 1,500 votes were cast.

Roberts will receive a game-worn jersey following the 2015 CCM ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando next January. The other two finalists will be awarded autographed replica jerseys.
