
All-Star Hambly rejoins Wranglers for game five

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Tim Hambly has been returned by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League. The Wranglers play Game 5 of the West Division Semi-Finals tonight in Boise at 6:10 pm (PST).
Hambly appeared in a total of 45 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights this season, collecting one goal and 16 assists for 17 points. Hambly was called up to the Knights in late December, leaving the Wranglers as the team leader in plus/minus at +19 and as one of the top scoring defenseman in the ECHL. The 22-year old suited up in only 31 games for Las Vegas, scoring nine goals and adding 12 assists for 21 points. Hambly was selected as an ECHL All-Star for the National Conference in January, but was unable to participate in the All-Star Game due to his AHL recall. In all, the Minnesota native played 78 games in his first professional season, scoring ten goals and adding 28 assists for 38 points.
Hambly will make his professional playoff debut tonight in Idaho, where the Wranglers trail the best-of-seven series with the Steelheads 3-1.

Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
