
All-Star Game Tickets Go on Sale Monday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (May 11, 2012) - Tickets to the California-Carolina League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 19, go on sale this Monday to the public. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Dash offices at (336) 714-2287. Seats in the lower bowl are $25 each, while lawn seats cost $15 per ticket.
Anyone that purchases a ticket to the All-Star Game will be able to experience all the festivities at BB&T Ballpark on June 19. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. for fans to take pictures, get autographs and watch batting practice.
Prior to the game, select All-Stars will take part in a Home Run Derby sponsored by United Airlines that starts at 6 p.m. The 16th edition of the California-Carolina League All-Star Game, presented by BB&T, then begins at 7:15 p.m. Pre-game events include special player introductions and a flyover. Post-game fireworks will cap off the evening of action.
Tickets are also on sale for the All-Star Luncheon, presented by RockTenn, on June 19 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Grand Pavilion Ballroom at the downtown Embassy Suites. Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench and Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner are scheduled to speak.
Supporting sponsors of the luncheon include IMG College, the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce and Visit Winston-Salem. A table (nine seats) can be purchased for $405. Not only will lunch be provided, but an All-Star player or coach will also be seated at every table. Call (336) 714-2287 to reserve your table.
In addition to the ticketed events surrounding the All-Star week, the Dash will host a couple of free community events during the All-Star break. On Monday, June 18, downtown Winston-Salem will hold a community party to kick off the All-Star celebration. The "FanFest on Fourth" runs from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the area around Foothills Brewing. Fans can interact with players and get autographs. The band The Dickens will be playing, and both the Dash Pack and Bolt will be on hand. The All-Star week celebration ends with a free post-game party at Ziggys at 9:00 p.m. on June 19.
