Tulsa Oilers News Release

The Tulsa Oielrs have always thought their fans are all-stars and now fans have a chance to win an all expense paid trip to the 2007 Central Hockey League All-Star Festival hosted by the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.

Fans can enter the contest sponsored by Zephyr Headwear, the official hat supplier to the CHL by visiting the CHL website and the direct link at: http://www.centralhockeyleague.com/pagebank/?id=5074.

The grand prize winner receives airfare and accommodations to the CHL All-Star game and all surrounding events January 16-18. That includes all meals, participation in all-star activities including the banquet and skills competition, two prime seats for the all-star game and two authentic 2007 CHL all-star jerseys.

Other prizes include tickets to the Oilers home opener (or an away game if a current season ticket holder wins and prefers that option), and Zephyr headwear prizes which can be seen at www.zhats.com.

"Our league's doing a great job for fans offering this kind of a contest," Oilers coach Butch Kaebel said. "We certainly hope to have a lot of players in the all-star game and it'll be great if an Oiler fan wins this contest. It's an awesome grand prize."

The Oilers begin the regular season on Friday October 20th in Wichita. Their home opener is Saturday October 28th at 7:35 p.m. also against Wichita. Oiler season tickets for the 2006-07 season are now on sale. The prices are the same as the 2005-06 season, ranging from $300 to $475. The Oilers have also instituted an automatic payment plan to make purchasing season tickets even easier and more convenient. Also new this year is a 10 game flex pack.
