Kelly Cup Northwest Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five) Series Tied 1-1
No. 2 Peoria Rivermen (48-17-7) at No. 3 Cincinnati Cyclones (36-29-7) 7:00 ET / 6:00 CT
* Greg Davis' overtime goal gave Peoria a 2-1 win in Game 2 to even the series.
* Aaron Brand's game-winning goal gave Cincinnati a 4-3 win in Game 1.
* Rivermen are 34-22 all-time in the ECHL playoffs.
* Cyclones recorded their first postseason win since returning to Cincinnati in 2001with Game 1 win.
* Peoria led the ECHL in goals allowed during the regular season, averaging 2.51 goals per game.
* Cincinnati's Brent Twordik had two goals and Matt Casselman and Steve Rodberg each had two assists in Game 1.
* Peoria was 6-2-0 against Cincinnati in the regular season and is 13-4-1 all-time in the regular season.
* Cincinnati qualified for its second consecutive Kelly Cup Playoffs.
2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Northeast Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series) Series Tied 1-1
No. 3 Roanoke Express (42-24-6) at No. 2 Greensboro Generals (42-21-9) 7:30 ET / 6:30 CT
* Roanoke's Josh Barker had two assists in a 3-1 win against Greensboro on Friday.
* Express' Evan Lindsay stopped 50-of-51 shots earning the win and tieing the series at 1-1.
* Jay Murphy and Mike Bayrack each scored three points (1g-2a) in Generals' 7-2 win in Game 1.
* Roanoke has never missed the playoffs in its 10 seasons in the ECHL.
* Greensboro's first-ever appearance in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
* Roanoke's Jason Jaffray was named CCM/ECHL Rookie of the Year after leading ECHL rookies in scoring with 85 points (34g-51a).
* Greensboro had the ECHL's second-best regular season penalty kill with 85.2 percent (357-for-419).
* Roanoke finished second in the ECHL in scoring during the regular season, averaging 3.68 goals per game.
2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Northwest Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series) Toledo Leads Series 1-0
No. 1 Toledo Storm (47-15-10) at No. 4 Lexington Men O' War (34-31-7) 7:30 ET / 6:30 CT
* Storm's Doug Teskey is 2-0 with a 0.5 goals against average in two playoff games against Lexington.
* Lexington is 1-for-7 (14.3 percent) on the power play in the Northern Division Semifinals.
* Erik Andersen had five points (2g-3a) and Jeff Mitchell had three points (2g-1a) in Toledo's 9-1 Game 1 win.
* Van Burgess scored Lexington's goal in Game 1.
* Storm's Doug Teskey stopped 32 Men O' War shots in the Game 1 victory.
* Men O' War are making their first Kelly Cup Playoffs appearance.
* Storm ranked third in the ECHL in regular season goals allowed, averaging 2.72 goals per game.
* Lexington's Mike Smith ranked fourth in the ECHL with a 2.55 goals against average.
2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southeast Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series) Series Tied 1-1
No. 3 Pee Dee Pride (40-26-6) at No 2 South Carolina Stingrays (42-22-8) 7:30 ET / 6:30 CT
* Joel Irving scored two goals in South Carolina's 7-1 win against Pee Dee on Friday.
* Daniel Carriere scored Pee Dee's lone goal in Friday's 7-1 loss.
* Preston Mizzi had a goal and an assist and Ron Vogel stopped 25 shots in the Pee Dee's 3-0 Game 1 win.
* Stingrays have never missed the playoffs in each of their 10 seasons in the ECHL.
* Pee Dee is 6-5 all-time against South Carolina in the postseason.
* South Carolina was 7-1-1 against Pee-Dee in 2002-03 and is 37-20-7 all-time in the regular season.
* Since moving to South Carolina in 1997, Pee Dee has never missed the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
* Stingrays' Kirk Daubenspeck was 6-1-1 with a 3.27 GAA in eight games against Pee Dee.
2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southwest Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series) Louisiana Leads Series 2-0
No. 3 Arkansas RiverBlades (37-24-11) at No. 2 Louisiana IceGators (40-20-12) 8:05 ET / 7:05 CT
* Nathan Rempel scored two goals as Louisiana edged Arkansas 2-1 in Game 2.
* Terry Marchant scored Arkansas only goal of the postseason 59 seconds into Game 2.
* Louisiana's Kyle Kettles stopped 22 shots and recorded his first playoff shutout as the IceGators defeated the RiverBlades 2-0 in Game 1.
* Arkansas only other appearance in the playoffs was 2001, losing three games to one against South Carolina in the Southern Conference Quarterfinals.
* Andrew Proskurnicki scored a power-play goal and Shawn McNeil scored another for Louisiana in Game 1.
* Arkansas was 7-2-3 against Louisiana during the 2002-03 regular season and 16-11-8 all-time.
* Louisiana has never missed the postseason in its eight seasons in the ECHL.
* RiverBlades' Buddy Smith led the ECHL in the regular season with 104 points and 74 assists.
2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southwest Division Semifinals (Best-of-Five Series) Mississippi Leads Series 1-0
No. 1 Mississippi Sea Wolves (44-24-4) at No. 4 Pensacola Ice Pilots (33-30-9) at 8:05 ET / 7:05 CT
* Mississippi's Cody Bowtell had three points (2g-1a) in the Sea Wolves' 5-1 win against Pensacola on Friday.
* Pensacola has allowed eight power-play goals in two games against Mississippi.
* Mississippi used three power-play goals and Greg Gardner stopped 28 of 29 shots to win Game 1, 5-1.
* Kerry Ellis-Toddington netted Pensacola's only goal in Game 1.
* Sea Wolves have qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fifth time in their seven-year history.
* Ice Pilots defeated Jackson 3-2 in overtime in the Southwest Division Wild Card Game on Brad Dexter's overtime goal.
* Mississippi is 6-1 all-time against Pensacola in the playoffs.
* Pensacola's Greg Pankewicz scored two goals in the Wild Card Game win after leading the ECHL during the regular season with 46 goals.
