
Alex de Goti Continues to Swing Hot Bat Saturday in Albuquerque

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) - Sugar Land Space Cowboys bats were on fire to open their first trip to Albuquerque this year. They hit 11 home runs and scored 30 runs through the first three games.
For the first time in their scheduled six-game set, the Space Cowboys did not deliver a homer.
They were defeated 8-2 by the Isotopes on Friday night at Isotopes Park.
Alex De Goti finished the night 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Though his first three games of the series De Goti has hit .583 (7x12) with two doubles, two home runs, four RBI and five runs scored. De Goti is tied with teammate Pedro León for the Pacific Coast League lead with 10 doubles. He's also seventh in the league with 18 walks.
The Space Cowboys scored both of their runs in the seventh. Korey Lee began the inning with a walk and came around to score on a De Goti single that got by Albuquerque right fielder Ryan Vilade. De Goti made it to third on the error and came around to score on a sacrifice fly from Michael Papierski.
DJ Peterson and Elehuris Montero each homered for Albuquerque.
David Hensley had his on-base streak snapped at 30 games in the loss. It stands as the longest on-base streak in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) this season.
The Space Cowboys and Isotopes continue their series at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, with Hunter Brown set to face off against Isotopes right-hander Ryan Feltner.
