Alberga Returns to Admirals from AHL Tucson

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced Friday that forward Domenic Alberga has been returned to the team by the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Alberga, 26, returns to the Admirals where he has posted 22 points (10g, 12a) in 22 games played this season. Norfolk's Captain returns after his third call-up with Tucson this season, logging a goal and two assists in 14 appearances.
Alberga recorded 37 points (15g, 22a) with the Admirals last season. The 6-1, 209-pound center has accrued 115 points (49g, 66a) in 216 career ECHL games from 2015-18 in stints with the Admirals, Wichita Thunder, Fort Wayne Komets, and Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Alberga was a standout player during his two seasons at Ryerson University from 2013-15 collecting 75 points. The Maple, Ontario native totaled 86 career points (35g, 51a) in 259 games in four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2009-2013.
The Admirals return to action tonight at Greenville. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.
