
Alberga Returns to Admirals from AHL Tucson

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, have announced Friday that forward Domenic Alberga has been returned on loan to the team by the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Alberga, 26, returns to the Admirals after appearing in three games with Tucson this season after earning a roster spot with the Roadrunners following an impressive training camp. Alberga recorded 37 points (15g, 22a) with the Admirals last season.
The 6-1, 209-pound center has accrued 93 points (39g, 54a) in 194 career ECHL games from 2015-18 in stints with the Admirals, Wichita Thunder, Fort Wayne Komets, and Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Alberga was a standout player during his two seasons at Ryerson University from 2013-15 collecting 75 points. The Maple, Ontario native totaled 86 career points (35g, 51a) in 259 games in four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2009-2013.
The Admirals open a two-game set tonight in Southwest Florida against the Florida Everblades at 7:30 p.m. The two teams will meet again on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Fans can catch all of the live action on Mixlr or watch the game online at ECHL.TV
