
Albany Firewolves' Greg Downing Signed Through 2022-23 Season

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced that defenseman Greg Downing will return to the Capital Region for another season. Downing will enter his fourth season within the organization after playing two seasons with the New England Black Wolves and the inaugural season with the FireWolves following the team's relocation. This will be Downing's 14th season in the NLL.
In 14 regular season games with Albany, Downing recovered 77 loose balls, caused 18 turnovers, and added nine assists. Downing also caused two turnovers in the FireWolves' playoff game against the Buffalo Bandits.
