
Bandits Sign Sweeting to One-Year Contract

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed defenseman Bryce Sweeting to a one-year contract.
Sweeting (6'2", 204 lbs., 7/7/1994) will enter his fourth season with the Bandits after finishing the 2021-22 season with three assists, 10 caused turnovers and 57 loose-ball recoveries in 16 regular-season games. Sweeting tied his career high in assists (3) and set a new career best in loose balls recovered (57). He appeared in two playoff games for the Bandits and registered five loose-ball recoveries.
The Peterborough, Ontario native has totaled 16 points (4+12) and 213 loose-ball recoveries in 79 career regular-season games, which includes eight points (1+7) and 133 loose-ball recoveries in 42 games with the Bandits. Prior to being acquired by the Bandits through a series of trades during the 2018 season, Sweeting spent the first three seasons of his career (2015-16 to 2017-18) with the Colorado Mammoth after being drafted by in the team in the fourth round (32nd overall) of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft.
