Alan Avila Returns to FC Dallas as Club's Official eMLS Athlete

Frisco, TX - Alan (AlanAvi) Avila returns to FC Dallas to represent the club as its official eMLS athlete for the 2021 eMLS season and compete in the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series. Avila re-signs with FC Dallas after becoming the organization's first-ever eMLS player in 2018. In addition to playing for FC Dallas, Avila will continue to compete and create content for Frisco-based Complexity Gaming, one of North America's most elite and longest-standing esports organizations, making him one of the few esports athletes to play under both an MLS franchise and esports organization simultaneously.
"FC Dallas has a special place in my heart," said Avila. "I started my professional esports career with Dallas and played soccer for the club's West Texas affiliate. To return and represent FCD while also continuing my work with Complexity is an incredible opportunity."
The Texas native, who also spent four years playing for FC Dallas' youth development academy, is an international competitor who finished fourth at the inaugural eMLS Cup in 2018 and advanced to the eChampions League Finals in 2019, both while competing under the FC Dallas banner.
Avila currently serves as a FIFA personality and competitor for Complexity Gaming, where he produces engaging livestreams and creates unique content for FIFA fans. He will continue to represent Complexity while competing on behalf of FC Dallas.
Avila won Xbox Manchester City Cup in 2017 and went 40-0 in FUT Champions in January 2018. He is currently an EA SPORTS FIFA influencer and has attended FUT Live FIFA 18. He has a popular YouTube channel (YouTube.com/AlanAvi) where he plays competitively, opens Top 100 reward packs and Vlogs. Additionally, Avila is a recurring commentator and analyst for the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series.
