Aidan Sweatt Named All-NWL

ROCHESTER, MN - The Northwoods League office announced the 2022 All-Northwoods League team earlier today in a press release from the head office in Rochester, Minn. and Loggers second baseman Aidan Sweatt (North Florida) was named to the post-season team.
Sweatt, who's in his second season with the Lumbermen, leads the club in games played (51), at-bats (193) and hits (56). He ranks second in batting average (.290) and runs scored (34) and also ranks third in stolen bases (11).
Mankato's Sean Ross (Indiana State) was named the league's Most Valuable Player and Willmar's Jack Habeck (St. Cloud State) was named the 2022 Pitcher of the Year.
Wisconsin Rapids Field Manager Kirk Schrider, who's club has won a league-record 56 games, was named the Field Manager of the Year.
