AHL Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Rockford IceHogs center Evan Brophey has been suspended for seven (7) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Hamilton on Mar. 25.

Brophey was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Brophey will miss Rockford's games Wednesday (Mar. 30) at Lake Erie, Friday (Apr. 1) at Oklahoma City, Sunday (Apr. 3) at Texas, Apr. 5 at San Antonio, Apr. 8 vs. Lake Erie, Apr. 9 vs. Grand Rapids and Apr. 10 at Chicago.

The American Hockey League also announced that Norfolk Admirals left wing Chris Durno has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game vs. Manchester on Mar. 26.

Durno was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Durno will miss Norfolk's game Wednesday (Mar. 30) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
