Dakota Wizards guard Blake Ahearn's four three pointers tonight in Tulsa gives him 125 for the 08-09 season, which sets a new NBA D-League record for a single seasons made three pointers. Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Frank Williams set the mark during the 2006-07 season with 122.
Ahearn broke the Wizards career 3 point made record in Erie on March 13th when he hit seven three pointers. At the time that put him at 202 three pointers made. Since then he has extended that to 218 which is a new franchise record for career three pointers made in regular season games. Ahearn who past Forward Willie Murdaugh (197 total) becomes the first Dakota player to have made more than 200 three pointers in a career.
