SATURDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Saturday's games:
The D-Fenders finished with seven players scoring in double-figures, led by Joe Crawford's 21 points and six rebounds. Sun Yue scored a season-high 14 points to go along with four rebounds and three blocks. Charlie Parker added 14 points, while Dwayne Mitchell and Ryan Forehan-Kelly had 11 points each. Brandon Heath and Earl Barron each finished with 10 points, as Barron added seven rebounds and six assists off the bench.
Led by Gary Forbes, Tulsa had five players in double-figures scoring. D.J. White finished with 20 points and eight rebounds, while Keith Clark added 13 points and 12 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season. Moses Ehambe contributed 12 points off the bench and Shaun Livingston added 10 points and five assists.
The Wizards were led by Romel Beck's 30 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Blake Ahearn and Maurice Baker finished with 22 points apiece in the loss.
The combination of Billy Thomas and Dominique Coleman led Colorado. Thomas 22 points and Coleman posted new season highs of 32 points and eight steals to go along with his nine rebounds and four assists.
Leading Erie was Quincy Douby, who tallied 23 points, five assists and five boards. Helping Douby, was Maureece Rice and Ivan Harris, who combined for 43 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Erie's starters all scored in double figures.
Antoine Agudio finished the game with 25 points and two rebounds to lead the T-birds.Chipping in 17 points and 10 rebounds was Jasper Johnson, who nabbed is 16th double-double this season.
David Noel scored 28 points, helping the Reno Bighorns defeat the Idaho Stampede 119-115. Richie Frahm led the three-point assault, shooting 67% (6-9) from deep and finished with 26 points. Russell Robinson added 25 points for the Bighorns.
Stampede forward Lance Allred scored 24 points while Jason Ellis finished the game with his second consecutive double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Nathan Jawai, on assignment from the Toronto Raptors, also finished with a double-double scoring 15 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Mohammed Abukar dropped in 19 points, while Kevin Burleson added 17 points, in the loss.
Six Bakersfield Jam players scored in double-digits on their way to a 108-96 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The Bakersfield effort was led by double-doubles by Mateen Cleaves (17 points, 11 assists) and Nick Lewis (13points, 10 rebounds) while Trey Johnson led all Jam scorers with 21 points and Derrick Byars followed with 20.
Kasib Powell led all Sioux Falls scorers with 21 points and David Bailey added 18.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
14 players with D-League experience competed in six NBA games last night, four as starters.
As a starter for Orlando, Raer Alston scored 17 points as the Magic defeated the Knicks 110-103.
Starting for Washington Andray Blateche scored 14 points and finished one rebound shy of a double-double.
