Los Angeles Aftershock News Release

Head Basketball Coach and General Manager Andre Smith of the Los Angeles Aftershock announces the signing of Darwin "DC" Carter for the 2005-2006 season. Carter, a 6'1 guard out of Angelo State and Tennessee State, is a veteran of international and ABA play, joins the ABA Summer Pro League Champion Aftershock, and should provide great long range shooting, exceptional defense and leadership.

Carter, who averaged 19 points, 4 assists and 4 steals per game with the ABA Stars in LA a year ago, has also just returned from playing in Portugal, but has 3 seasons of international play in China where he also averaged almost 19 points a game. Belize born, Carter drive and want to win will make the ABASPL Champs more difficult to beat.

The Aftershock will announce more signings each day as they are finalized. For more information on the Aftershock, visit www.laaftershock.com. or call (714) 470-1122.
