October 4, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Strong Island Sound News Release
Long Island, NY. The Strong Island Sound of the ABA continues to search for the area's top players. The tryout registration for the team will continue until October 8th. Many positions are open and the chances of making the team (if you can play) are good. New York area basketball has a reputation to maintain in a highly-skilled and professional basketball league. If you have not yet registered, contact Coach Medina as soon as possible at 954 599 9284 or email coachmedina@aol.com or visit www.abalive.com. --
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
