DAVENPORT, Iowa — Week 11 of the AFL on NBC was a winning weekend for four former Quad City Steamwheelers.

After spending the past five weeks on the injured reserve list, New York Dragons wide receiver/linebacker Chris Anthony returned in a big way.

Anthony caught four passes for 46 yards, two going for touchdowns, which helped the Dragons hold off the Colorado Crush 52-49 on Sunday. Anthony also added a tackle on defense. His teammate, offensive lineman/defensive lineman Tim McGill, started on both sides of the ball, and on defense had 1.5 tackles (1UT-1AT) and a quarterback hurry in the win.

In New Orleans, wide receiver/linebacker Ira Gooch helped guide the VooDoo to their fifth win in six games, as he hauled in four passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Gooch had 2.5 tackles (2UT-1UT) and a pass breakup on defense in the 64-46 win for the VooDoo over the Columbus Destroyers.

Despite not recording any statistics, Los Angeles Avengers offensive lineman/defensive lineman Sean McNamara started on the offensive line in the Avengers 62-55 win over the Detroit Fury.

Three former Steamwheelers, who now play for the Las Vegas Gladiators, had their weekend off, as it was their "bye" week. They will return to action this Sunday when they host the Detroit Fury.
