
Aeros To Place Playoff Tickets On-Sale

Akron, OH -- The Akron Aeros will place their 2007 playoff tickets on-sale beginning Monday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets for both the Southern Divisional Series and the Eastern League Championship Series will be available. The Aeros are currently in first-place in the Eastern League's Southern Division with a 1.0 game lead over second-place Erie and a 5.5 game lead over third-place Altoona. The top two teams in E.L.'s Northern and Southern Divisions qualify for post-season play.
Ticket prices for all potential playoff games will be discounted to $6.00. This represents a 40% savings off the regular season adult reserved ticket price and a 25% savings off the regular season juniors (12 & under) and seniors (60 & over) reserved ticket price. Ticket prices for bleacher seating will also be $6.00. Tickets for all post-season games are available by calling (330) 253-5153 or TOLL FREE 800-97-AEROS, at Infield Outfitters, the Aeros Team Shop at Canal Park or on the web at www.akronaeros.com.

If the Aeros finish in first place, they will host Game 1 on Wednesday, September 5 @ 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park and Game 2 on Thursday, September 6 @ 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park. Games 3 & 4 (if necessary) will be played at the opposing team's park on Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8, with locations and times to-be-determined. If necessary, Akron will host Game 5 on Sunday, September 9 @ 7:05 p.m.
If the Aeros finish in second place, Games 1 & 2 will be played at the opposing team's park on Wednesday, September 5 and Thursday, September 6, with locations and times to-be-determined. Akron would host Game 3 on Friday, September 7 @ 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park and Game 4 (if necessary) on Saturday, September 8 @ 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park. If necessary, Game 5 will be played on Sunday, September 9 at the opposing team's park with location and time to-be-determined.
EASTERN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

If the Aeros win the Southern Divisional Series, they will qualify for the Eastern League Championship Series. The first two Eastern League Championship Series games will be played at the Northern Division winner's park. Game 1 would be tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, September 11 and Game 2 would be tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 12. Times and locations to-be-determined. Akron would return to Canal Park for Game 3, tentatively set for Thursday, September 13 at 7:05 p.m., Game 4 (if necessary) tentatively set for Friday, September 14 at 7:05 p.m. and Game 5 (if necessary) tentatively set for Saturday, September 15 at 7:05 p.m.
UNPLAYED GAMES
Tickets for any Southern Divisional Series game that are not played can be exchanged for an Eastern League Championship Series ticket, if the Aeros were to advance to the Championship Series (subject to availability) or a cash refund available only between September 10 and September 30. Tickets for any Eastern League Championship Series game not played are good for a cash refund, available only between September 10 and September 30.
REFUND POLICY
In the event that you have tickets for a Southern Divisional Series or Eastern League Championship Series game that is not played, those tickets can be returned to Infield Outfitters, the Aeros Team Shop. In exchange for your tickets, you can receive a cash refund available only between September 10 and September 30. Any tickets not returned during this period have no value and are not subject to a refund or exchange. The Aeros Team Shop will be open September 10 - September 30 from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for cash refunds. You may also mail your tickets to: Aeros Playoff Refund, Canal Park, 300 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308. Mail-in refunds must be postmarked no later than September 30, 2007 and refunds will be sent out within two weeks of receipt of the tickets. No refunds will be given for processing/postage & handling fees charged at the time of purchase. Refund policy only good for tickets to an UNPLAYED GAME. Any tickets returned that carry a zero dollar value such as complimentary tickets will not be subject to a refund because they have no cash value.
