
Aeros go 4-0 against RiverCatz

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - It was closer than their previous three contests, but the Arkansas Aeros still had the magic Thursday night over their sister team, the RiverCatz in an American Basketball Association contest at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The Aeros (18-2) came away with a 127-115 victory over the RiverCatz (9-6) behind 38 points from Todd Day. Day's total included 30 in the second half alone on 9 of 13 shooting, including 6-9 from behind the three-point line.
Jeremy Bell led seven RiverCatz in double figures with 25 points. Bell shot 11 of 18 from the field. Shawnson Johnson had 21 points and 15 rebounds for the RiverCatz.
Up next for the Aeros is a trip Saturday to face the St. Louis Stunners.
The RiverCatz entertain the Texas Tycoons on Saturday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
