Silverados name new head of player personnel

Rio Grande Valley, TX. Co-owners Kevin Mitchell and Art Gonzalez of the ABA RGV Silverados announced the signing of ex-Pan American Bronc and present Euro League phenomenon, Mire Chatman as Head of Player Personnel for the expansion team that begins play in November.

Mire played for the University of Texas-Pan American where he was an All-American and ranked among the nations best in scoring and steals. Mire has been playing in the European Leagues since 2002 where has helped win national championships, made the All Star tem, won the Slam Dunk competition and led the league in assists.

He is currently playing for Lottomatica Roma and is considered to be one of the top American guards in European basketball. "Mire is a hard worker, who utilizes his talent to produce results, which is why we have chosen him to head this aspect of our operation," said Art Gonzalez. Kevin Mitchell added, "Mire is a fierce competitor, he wins championships and I'm confident he can put together the team we need to do just that."
