Slam offering $1 admission to Seahawks fans on Saturday
January 11, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Bellingham Slam News Release
BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Bellingham Slam, sitting atop the American Basketball Association's Western Conference with a 13-5 record, announced today that the team is offering a big discount for any Seahawks fans who come to the Slam's next home game on Saturday against the King County Royals.
To help fans get ready for the big Seahawks/Bears NFC playoff game on Sunday, the Slam are offering $1 admission for any fans who come to Saturday's game dressed up in at least one piece of Seahawks apparel. It doesn't matter what it is - a hat, jersey, t-shirt, or something else - if Slam fans show their Seahawks pride on Saturday night they will be admitted for just $1.
This offer is currently good only for the Slam's next home game on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at Whatcom Pavilion. But should the Seahawks win this weekend, the Slam will continue the promotion next week before the NFC championship game.
In the wake of Wednesday's postponed game, Saturday's game against King County will now open a six-game homestand for the Slam that will take the team through the All-Star break.
