OVERVIEW

The Houston Aeros (8-3-0-3, 19 pts.) play host to the Charlotte Checkers (9-5-1-0, 19 pts.) on Sunday at Toyota Center. Houston has dropped two straight games and is coming off a 5-3 loss to Abbotsford on Thursday. The Aeros, who trail West Division co-leaders Abbotsford and OKC by two points, are in the midst of playing six out of seven games at home (Nov. 6-25) and concludes a four-game home stand on Friday vs. Texas. The Checkers, who lead the Midwest Division, have won seven of their last 10 games and defeated Oklahoma City 3-2 on the road last night. They conclude a nine-game road trip today.
