Ads Finish Home Schedule Friday Night

Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI-- The Admirals approach the end of the regular season this weekend battling for a playoff spot. With three games left, the Ads are currently tied for 8th place with the Rockford IceHogs at 83 points.
Rockford has two only games remaining in the regular season, while the Admirals have three. Milwaukee claims the advantage over Rockford with a possible six points up for grabs over the IceHogs possibility of acquiring four points maximum before the season closes. Two points below the Ads and IceHogs, are the Chicago Wolves, who have three games remaining in the regular season as well.
Despite the Ads having the upper hand on possible points to gain before the regular season completes, if Milwaukee is in a tie with Rockford at the end, the final playoff seat will go to Rockford. Rockford and Milwaukee are currently tied at 35 point for regulation overtime wins (ROW), making the final decision based on head to head performances; Rockford has won the series by finding victory on 7 of 12 match ups. If the Ads are tied with OKC, the spot will go to Milwaukee currently holding 35 (maximum of 38 possible) points in ROW over the Baron's 33 points (maximum of 36 possible to acquire before season ends).
If the Admirals win the remaining three games on schedule they will clinch a playoff spot. Milwaukee's magic number is currently five, meaning any combination of Admrials points earned and Rockford points not earned totaling five puts the Ads in the post-season.
The final few days of hockey in the AHL regulation season leave the Ads the possibility of finishing in a spot between 5th and 10th place, needing the 8th spot or better to make the post-season. The last seat in the Western Conference will likely face off against Texas who needs a point (in two games) to claim the conference title.
The Admirals host the Charlotte Checkers for their final home game on Friday, April 19th at 7:00pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center for Aurora Sports Medicine Fan Appreciation Night. The concluding home game will feature all fans receiving a 2012-2013 Admirals Team picture curtsey of Saz's. In addition to the picture, fans have the opportunity to win a Funjet Vacations trip, Summerfest tickets, and much more. Pat McCurdy will perform in the East Atrium on Friday night as well.
On Saturday and Sunday, Milwaukee will be on the road finishing the regular season facing Chicago on the 20th and Peoria on the 21st.
For tickets fans should call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of 10 or more receive significant discounts off the original ticket price. For more information, or to purchase group tickets, fans can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
